A Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, Jane is a natural, eloquent and captivating speaker who possesses that rare ability to communicate the complexities of astronomy in a warm and easy to understand way. She makes the 'ungraspable' graspable so why not join her for a revelatory voyage?
This 80-minute talk, with intermission and a book-signing at the end, allies spectacular images and stunning audio visuals to celebrate astronomical perspective, grandeur and beauty on the most majestic of scales. Jane deconstructs the complex, demystifies meaningless phrases and uncloaks the darkest wonders of the cosmos to reveal the splendours of celestial light.
This powerful and insightful journey beings and ends with 'nothing' ... so what could possibly fill the 'space' in between? Perhaps 'something' you might never have considered ... never in a million years.
